Curious

On Thursday, July 18, 2015, I was able to return to the Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY for the second time.  It's a lovely aquarium!  I was able to enjoy my second Penguin Encounter, which I enjoyed tremendously!  I was amazed at how crowded the aquarium was for a Thursday!  It made getting good shots more difficult but I managed a few....

I adore the otters!  One of the reasons I enjoy this aquarium so much, besides the Penguin Encounter, is their otter exhibit. While this guy came over to get a closer look after the otter demo, I had the prime spot to get great photos.  Then I was descended upon by pushy children who had no regard for a person with a camera.  I've got numerous shots with fingers in them, let me tell you. 

I was going to crop this one but then I took a second look and decided that the face of the child kinda makes this work.  The otter was engaged with the child and I felt that had I cropped the child out of the photo, you would wonder what exactly is the otter looking at?  Well, now you know.....so I left it in......may not have been the right call but there it is!
